<em>Shinkaicaris leurokolos</em> is a deep-sea shrimp highly adapted to the dark, hot vent habitat, living in close proximity to the vigorously venting chimney orifice where environment factors fluctuate frequently at the seconds-minutes scale, masking any detectable tidal effects in terms of temperature and chemistry. Here we tested the presence of endogenous rhythms in this species through a free-running lab experiment over 72 hours and generated a de novo transcriptome. Transcripts with the highest expressed isoforms were kept in this transcriptome.
亮肋新卡虾(Shinkaicaris leurokolos)是一种高度适应黑暗高温热液生境的深海虾类,常栖息于活跃喷溢的烟囱口附近。该区域的环境因子以秒-分钟级的频率频繁波动,掩盖了温度与化学参数中可检测到的潮汐效应。本研究通过一项为期72小时的自由运行实验室实验,检测了该物种内源性节律的存在,并构建了从头转录组(de novo transcriptome)。该转录组仅保留了表达量最高的转录本异构体(isoforms)。
