Daily values of primary production, 0 to 30m, continental margin to the west of Antarctic Peninsula, GLOBEC

Water samples, drawn from CTD rosette bottle casts, were obtained for primary production experiments during the period April to September 2001 and 2002. Inoculated samples were exposed to simulated in situ conditions using an on-deck incubator. Primary production (carbon uptake) is integrated over a 24-hour period at five sample depths (0 to 30m). The general survey area includes: the continental shelf to the west of the Antarctic Peninsula extending from the northern tip of Adelaide Island to the southern portion of Alexander Island, and Marguerite Bay.
