Comprehensive Hazard of Extreme Events in China under Future Climate Change
收藏资源简介:
Three typical extreme events—heatwaves, floods, and droughts—covering a broad national scope were selected. The hazard levels of heatwaves, floods, and droughts were assessed using indicators such as the composite meteorological drought index, heatwave index, and flood index. The integrated hazard level was derived by aggregating the three extreme events. First, different hazard levels for extreme events were assigned values: high hazard = 3, medium hazard = 2, low hazard = 1, and no hazard = 0. The integrated hazard was then calculated using an equal-weight summation method. The integrated hazard of extreme events in China during the periods of 1.5°C and 2°C global warming under RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios was ultimately obtained. The data format is tif.
