Proteome database of Proteus mirabilis strain HI4320

Proteus mirabilis is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, facultative anaerobic bacterium capable of collective cell migration behaviour known as swarming motility. Frequently associated with urinary tract infections due to swarming motility mediated in part by a large number of flagella tethered to the cell envelope, the bacterium is also a model organism for the study of the intricate cell motility mechanism. This work presents the proteome database of P. mirabilis HI4320 by parsing its annotated proteome downloaded from UniProt. Comprising protein name, amino acid sequence, molecular weight, number of residues, and nucleotide sequence, the resource should find use in understanding possible connections between evolution of swarming motility and emergence of pathogenicity of the bacterium.奇异变形杆菌（Proteus mirabilis）是一种革兰氏阴性（Gram-negative）、杆状的兼性厌氧细菌，具备被称为群集运动（swarming motility）的集体细胞迁移行为。该菌的群集运动一定程度上由锚定在细胞被膜上的大量鞭毛所介导，因此常与尿路感染相关；同时它也是研究复杂细胞运动机制的模式生物。本研究通过解析从UniProt下载的注释蛋白质组，构建了奇异变形杆菌HI4320的蛋白质组数据库。该数据库包含蛋白质名称、氨基酸序列、分子量、残基数目以及核苷酸序列，可用于探究群集运动演化与该菌致病性产生之间的潜在关联。
