全球4°海洋底边界层次中尺度过程空间尺度（1948-2018年）数据基于全球高分辨率模式MITgcm LLC4320模型结果，利用一维湍流模型GOTM对全球海底底边界层进行模拟得到。包含KPP、MY和k-epsilon这三种方案下全球底边界层的厚度、底边界层浮频率、底边界层内次中尺度过程空间尺度的数据。
The dataset of spatial scales of mesoscale processes in the global 4° oceanic bottom boundary layer (1948–2018) is developed based on outputs from the global high-resolution ocean model MITgcm LLC4320, with simulations of the global seafloor bottom boundary layer conducted using the one-dimensional turbulence model GOTM. It includes data on global bottom boundary layer thickness, buoyancy frequency within the bottom boundary layer, and spatial scales of submesoscale processes within the bottom boundary layer under three turbulence schemes: KPP, MY, and k-epsilon.
