GéoDAE is the national database of automated external defibrillators (DAE) recorded in France. Only about 1 in 10 citizens survives a cardiac arrest due to lack of timely intervention. The national public health plan aims to train 80% of the population in first aid and improve access to automated external defibrillators across the country by promoting their geolocation and maintenance. The creation of a national database, as per the law of June 28, 2018 on cardiac defibrillators, aligns with this ambition. All DAE operators must now declare data on their defibrillators and their characteristics in the national database. The declaration portal is available at: https://geodae.atlasante.fr/apropos. This sheet presents the extraction of public data declared by operators, as provided by the Order of October 29, 2019 on the operation of the national database of automated external defibrillators. The rules for dissemination, public or limited, are specified in Annexes 1, 2, and 3 of this order. Only freely accessible data is disseminated as open data.
