Gut Virome in First-Episode Schizophrenia

This project investigated the gut virome of 49 first-episode schizophrenia patients and 49 matched healthy controls using metagenomic sequencing. The aim is to identify viral patterns associated with schizophrenia, enhancing our understanding of the virome's role in this condition.本研究采用宏基因组测序（metagenomic sequencing）技术，对49名首发精神分裂症患者及49名匹配健康对照的肠道病毒组（gut virome）展开探究。本研究旨在识别与精神分裂症相关的病毒特征模式，以加深我们对该疾病中病毒组所发挥作用的认知。
