Monitoring of the exchange capacities at the French borders of the CWE/Central-West Europe region

**“Monitoring Clean Energy Package 70 %”** **** The European Electricity Regulation, as part of the Clean Energy Package adopted in 2019, requires TSOs to be able to monitor the network capacity to be made available for cross-border trade by introducing an ambitious 70 % target. According to the recommendation of ACER (Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators), this monitoring is carried out, on each step of time, at the mesh of critical network elements that are provided to the various capacity calculations for border trade within the European Union. In this context, RTE and CRE wish to make available to all, the monitoring data that is produced on the subject at the French level. SWE, Western Central Europe (CORE/CWE) and NIB are the 3 capacity calculation regions within the European Union, in which RTE participates (SWE for the border with Spain; NIB for Border with Italy;CWE for borders with Germany and Belgium). Since 9 June 2022 CORE has replaced the CWE region. The term CWE will therefore be retained for data from 1 January 2022 to 8 June 2022.
