This dataset provides basic algal data from the Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River, which serves as a scientific basis for exploring algal biodiversity in this section, and also accumulates valuable historical data for research on aquatic biological resources and aquatic ecology in the Yangtze River Basin. This dataset covers the density of phytoplankton, the composition of dominant algal groups, the survey checklist and other relevant contents in the Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River.
