The speed measurement and positioning system provides phase angle information and position information for the traction system and train operation and control system to support traction and operation control. With the continuous improvement of train speed, new requirements have been put forward for the dynamic response characteristics and system time delay of the speed measurement and positioning system. Combined with the requirements of the traction system and operation control system, the specific operating requirements of the speed measurement and positioning system are analyzed. Using a high-speed simulation test bench, functional verifications including positioning accuracy, positioning resolution, absolute mileage detection accuracy and system response capability within the full speed range of the system are carried out, so as to realize the functional and performance evaluation of the speed measurement and positioning system under all working conditions and all speed levels. The above tests show that the speed measurement and positioning system for high-speed maglev trains can accurately obtain slot counting signals and absolute position information at 0~600 km/h, and accurately obtain pole phase angle information at 0~100 km/h, which meets the requirements of the operation control system and traction system. In summary, the speed measurement and positioning system for high-speed maglev trains meets the application requirements at a speed range of 0~600 km/h.
