Beckers Ushabti Collection: Ushabtis and related funerary objects

This dataset presents the Beckers Ushabti Collection, a privately held research collection of ancient Egyptian ushabtis and related funerary objects. The collection comprises individually documented objects with detailed bilingual metadata (German and English), comparative typological assessments, high-quality photographic documentation, and linked 3D models. The focus lies on ushabtis from the New Kingdom to the Late Period, complemented by related votive and funerary objects. Special attention is given to material analysis, stylistic comparison, and issues of reuse and usurpation, as exemplified by selected objects with preserved inscriptions.
