Algebra Misconceptions Dataset 是由中国科学院的研究团队创建的一个用于评估中学代数误解的数据集。该数据集包含55个常见的代数误解和错误,以及220个诊断示例,这些示例是从先前的同行评审研究中识别出来的。数据集的创建过程包括对145篇学术论文和会议论文的分析,采用雪球抽样方法,确保每个误解都有多个诊断示例。该数据集旨在帮助教育工作者和研究人员识别学生在代数学习中的误解,特别是在中学生的代数教育中,以提高教学质量和学生学习效果。
The Algebra Misconceptions Dataset was developed by a research team affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences for evaluating middle school students’ algebraic misconceptions. This dataset contains 55 common algebraic misconceptions and errors, along with 220 diagnostic examples identified from previous peer-reviewed studies. The development of this dataset involved an analysis of 145 academic journal articles and conference proceedings, and adopted a snowball sampling method to ensure that each misconception is supported by multiple diagnostic examples. This dataset aims to help educators and researchers identify students’ algebraic misconceptions, particularly in middle school algebra education, so as to improve teaching quality and student learning outcomes.
