HydroLAKES

This database encompasses 1.4 million lakes or reservoirs, with a total surface area of 267,000 square kilometers, a total shoreline length of 7.2 million kilometers, and a total water storage capacity of 181,900 cubic kilometers. The dataset was developed using auxiliary data sources and is linked to the global river network HydroSHEDS, as well as the HydroRIVERS and HydroBASINS databases.
