Media and preschool children in Slovenia, 2016

The purpose of the research was to collect data on the media exposure of early childhood children and on selected elements of media education that children receive either in their home environment or in kindergartens. The study includes the opinions of parents and educators of children aged 1 to 6 years on the influence of the media on children’s mood, health, weight, speech development, aggressive behaviour and consumption habits. It also includes the views of parents and educators on the importance of setting rules on media use and limiting media use by preschoolers.
