This dataset for the impact analysis of Taobao Image Search (Pailitao) on transaction amount covers two core metrics: Wanxiangtai (Taobao's intelligent promotion platform) promoted visitors and transaction amount. As a key indicator for Tmall stores, Wanxiangtai accurately reflects the capability of Taobao ecosystem stores to attract intelligent scenario-based visitors. The comparison between the decline rates of Wanxiangtai-promoted visitors and transaction amount provides data support for in-platform brand promotion, offers budget allocation references for operators in similar or related industries, and facilitates data-driven business growth. 1. Data Collection: The dataset is sourced from Taobao Business Advisor data of Tmall channel systems from January to November 2023 and January to November 2024, including dimensions such as channel, source, time, traffic source, Taobao Image Search visitors, and transaction amount. Sensitive information is encrypted, and data processing is conducted on the collected dataset. 2. Algorithm Rules: The visitor-transaction elasticity coefficient Ed is calculated as Ed = (ΔQ/Q) ÷ (ΔP/P), where Q represents the total number of Taobao Image Search visitors from January to November 2024, P represents the total transaction amount over the same period, ΔQ denotes the year-on-year change in total visitors, and ΔP denotes the year-on-year change in total transaction amount. The absolute value of Ed, denoted as |Ed|, is used as the reference coefficient during data analysis. 3. Data Analysis: The elasticity between Taobao Image Search visitors and transaction amount can be analyzed based on the value of |Ed|: (1) |Ed| = 1 (moderate promotion elasticity): The magnitude of change in Taobao Image Search visitors is consistent with that of transaction amount; (2) 1 < |Ed| (highly elastic promotion): The magnitude of change in Taobao Image Search visitors is greater than that of transaction amount; (3) |Ed| < 1 (inelastic promotion): The magnitude of change in Taobao Image Search visitors is smaller than that of transaction amount.
