The Substrate 2013 layer represents the substrate systematic unit of the peat soils at the time of the reference sampling. The substrate systematic unit was derived from old data, translated into the nomenclature according to KA5 in order to correct the expected aging processes and represents a description of the substrate type potentially to be assumed for the year 2013.
