Cornsweet Ilusion

We recorded pupils’ responses to Cornsweet stimuli by Lotto and Purves. Pupillary diameters adjusted to the unveridical perceptions (i.e., the subjective impression that surfaces within a scene have different lightness) instead of the objective light intensities present in the stimuli (i.e., surfaces that really have identical luminance). We used an SMI infrared eye tracker. Raw data is in .idf format. Research assistants were inconsistent in coding participants, skipping some numbers in the sequence or doubling others. Total participants was N= 64.
