The Open X-Embodiment Dataset is a robotic learning dataset co-developed by 21 research institutions across the globe, designed to provide large-scale and diverse data support for robotic manipulation tasks. This dataset integrates over 1 million trajectory samples from 22 distinct robotic entities, covering a wide range of morphologies including single-arm robots, dual-arm robots, and quadruped robots. It encompasses 527 skills across 160,266 tasks, spanning a broad spectrum of manipulation capabilities from simple grasping to complex assembly operations. During its development, the dataset standardized data formats to integrate 60 independent datasets into a unified resource, supporting multiple robotic configurations and input modalities. Its core application domains include robotic manipulation, policy transfer across different robotic entities, and language-conditioned robotic control tasks. This dataset serves as a foundational resource for research on multi-robotic entity learning, helping to advance the generalization capabilities of robots across diverse environments.
