EQA scheme for immission measurement 2010

The report ‘Ring Experiment for Immission Measurement 2010’ summarises the results of the first interlaboratory experiment in the new facility of the Federal Environment Agency. 10 operators of immission measurement stations took part in this interlaboratory test in autumn 2010. The competence in the measurement of ozone (O3), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2) was tested. The evaluations were carried out in accordance with the criteria for the European air cargo reference laboratories. The results of the extensive test series provide proof of the measurement competence of the measuring network operators: More than 88% of all evaluated results met all requirements with the best possible evaluation. The Federal Environment Agency has been operating an interlaboratory test facility for immission measurements since February 2010. Proficiency tests are carried out at regular intervals.
