We propose a 150 ks observation of Cen A simultaneous with the 40 ks Astro-E2 observation during calibration phase 1A. Theprimary goal of the combined observations is to characterize thecontinuum shape especially the location of any hard x-ray breakas well as search for variations in the spectrumby contrasting this observation with the three previous INTEGRAL observations. Another primary goal is to provide an early Astro-E2/INTEGRAL cross calibration of instruments utilizing a source with a simple spectral shape and low intensitywhich allows accumulation of data with a minimum of pile-up effects in Astro-E2.
