In a recent survey by combining photometry of ASAS-SN and spectroscopy of LAMOST comma a sample black hole binary candidates were selected. We speculate that they are X-ray binary systems in the quiescent state. To distinguish them from chromospherically active binaries comma we propose to use XMM-Newton observations to search for their X-ray counterparts. By measuring the X-ray spectrum and X-ray flux comma we can select the most promising black hole candidates for follow-up observations.
