Daily movie generated from 30-sec sky image

The kcgasimovieM1.a1 datastream contains daily movies generated from 30-second sky images, providing cloud fraction measurements. This instrument, an All Sky Imager (ASI), uses a fisheye lens and anti-reflective coated quartz dome to capture a 180° field of view, producing high-resolution images as both pre-scheduled network stored JPGs and as a video livestream. The ASI is similar to the existing ARM Total Sky Imager (TSI). The data were collected at Facility M1 (kennaook / Cape Grim, Tasmania, Australia, the main site for CAPE-k), which is located at the KCG site (kennaook / Cape Grim, Tasmania, AUS, Mobile Facility for CAPE-k), between April 15, 2024, and October 20, 2025.
