为揭示不同板厚高强铝合金搅拌摩擦焊成形成性规律与厚板焊缝组织性能薄弱点,本研究构建了“中厚板高强铝合金搅拌摩擦焊接组织演变与焊缝性能数据集”。该数据集基于,覆盖力学性能、焊接过程温度和有限元仿真三类核心数据。采用不同工艺参数获取6mm、12mm和18mm搅拌摩擦焊焊缝试样;通过电火花线切割制备标准拉伸试样和分层拉伸试样,采用CMT-5205电子万能试验机开展拉伸试验;采用工件中预埋热电偶的方法测试焊接过程温度;采用Abaqus软件计算铝合金搅拌焊过程温度场有限元仿真。数据采集时间为2021年1月至2025年4月,采集地点包括中南大学机电工程学院与轻合金研究院。主要设备包括重型搅拌摩擦焊机、中南大学高性能计算中心与CMT-5205电子万能试验机。数据集全面记录了焊接工艺参数、焊接过程温度、力学响应及组织特征,为研究中厚板高强铝合金焊缝性能调控提供了系统的数据支撑。

To reveal the forming and property evolution regularities and the weak points in microstructure and properties of thick/medium plate weld joints during friction stir welding (FSW) of high-strength aluminum alloys, this study constructed the "Dataset on Microstructure Evolution and Weld Joint Properties of High-Strength Aluminum Alloy Thick/Medium Plates During Friction Stir Welding". This dataset covers three core types of data: mechanical properties, welding process temperature, and finite element simulation results. Friction stir welding weld specimens with thicknesses of 6 mm, 12 mm, and 18 mm were obtained using different process parameters. Standard tensile specimens and layered tensile specimens were prepared via wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM), and tensile tests were conducted using a CMT-5205 electronic universal testing machine. Welding process temperature was measured by embedding thermocouples inside the workpieces. The temperature field during aluminum alloy friction stir welding was simulated via finite element analysis using Abaqus software. Data collection was carried out from January 2021 to April 2025 at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Light Alloy Research Institute of Central South University. The main equipment used includes heavy-duty friction stir welding machines, the High-Performance Computing Center of Central South University, and the CMT-5205 electronic universal testing machine. This dataset comprehensively records welding process parameters, welding process temperature, mechanical responses, and microstructure characteristics, providing systematic data support for research on the regulation of weld joint properties of high-strength aluminum alloy thick/medium plates.
