The dataset has been collected from students (N = 135) from public and private higher education institutions in India with the aim to assess their work ethic and academic motivation.
Participants completed the Work Ethic Scale developed by Sharma and Rai, and the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS-C 28), college version, developed by Vallerand and colleagues.
