List of documents and toppics identified by A Systematic Literature Review of International Software Engineering Practices Leveraging Generative AI for Developmental Disorders

A literature review of the academic literature was conducted to collect software engineering using generative AI on developmental disabilities. The academic literature was searched on January 10, 2025 using Scopus; for 565 articles, the title and abstract of each article, as well as the text where appropriate, were consulted and the following inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to identify 18 articles from 2021 to 2025. Inclusion: Articles and books dealing with developmental disorders written in English in the context of research, practice, education, and other activities in SE in the broad sense, including programming, related to Generation AI should be included. Literature dealing with developmental disabilities in general, not just SE in the broad sense, literature that does not appear to be related to generative AI, and literature written in non-English language should be excluded. A close examination of the candidate topic groups from 14 of the 18 identified articles, excluding review articles, resulted in the following categories: learning and educational support, medical support, rehabilitation, intervention, and therapy support, communication support, and social engagement support.
