The online map of earthquake events represents the earthquakes registered by the Rhineland-Palatinate Land Earthquake Service since 2000. As shown in the description of the station network (http://www.lgb-rlp.de/fachthemen-des-amtes/landeserdbebendienst-rheinland-pfalz/erdbeben-stationsnetz.html), the LER is a locally oriented measuring network, only earthquakes around Rhineland-Palatinate are shown.
