Simulated blue light rides in Braunschweig

Among other things, DLR's SUMO tool for microscopic traffic simulation was used in the SIRENE project. Blue light runs (e.g. professional fire brigade) in the urban area of Braunschweig were simulated to test different parts of the SIRENE system. At this point, an exemplary simulated ride is provided. It is available in GeoJSON format for two vehicles or as JSON for LSA status and could be used for various investigations. This is a compromise to provide data sets of a BOS service that are harmless under data protection law. Specifically, the simulation prioritized the decentralized SIRENE approach for two firefighting vehicles in a column drive. This led via the junction K111 (Münchenstraße to the motorway exit A391).
