EQA test for immission measurement 2010

The report “Ring Test for Immission Measurement 2010” summarises the results of the first EQA in the new plant of the Federal Environment Agency. In the autumn of 2010, 10 operators of immission measuring stations participated. The competence was tested in the measurement of ozone (O3), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2). The evaluations were carried out according to the criteria for the European air freight reference laboratories. The results from the extensive test series provide proof of the measurement competence of the measuring network operators: More than 88 % of all evaluated results met all requirements with the best possible rating. Since February 2010, the Federal Environment Agency has operated a EQA plant for immission measurements. Ring tests are carried out at regular intervals.
