Comparative indicators for assessing TRIPP-related agri-food trade connectivity, digitalization and green economy transition in the South Caucasus
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides a comparative secondary-data baseline for assessing the potential effects of the proposed Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) on agri-food trade connectivity, digitalization, and the green economy transition in the South Caucasus. The dataset covers Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, and Türkiye and compiles selected indicators related to food-import exposure, digital readiness, renewable electricity production, and carbon emissions. The quantitative indicators were compiled from publicly available international databases, primarily the World Bank World Development Indicators, with underlying data from UN Comtrade/WITS, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the International Energy Agency (IEA), and international emissions databases. FAOSTAT agrifood trade statistics are additionally documented as a contextual source. The dataset is designed as the first-stage empirical baseline for the research project “Assessing the potential effects of the proposed TRIPP transit route on digitalized agri-food trade connectivity and the green economy transition in the South Caucasus.” The deposited package contains (1) an Excel workbook with the compiled indicators, source register, and scenario framework and (2) a Word document providing dataset documentation, indicator definitions, methodological notes, limitations, and references. No primary surveys, interviews, field observations, or experimental data were used. The dataset is intended for comparative analysis, scenario development, visualization, and subsequent expansion with bilateral and commodity-level agri-food trade indicators.
