Anonymised Field Observation Summary — MHRC Ethnographic Fieldwork, MISHA/MAHE Manipal, May-June (2026)

This dataset contains a 2‑page anonymised summary of ethnographic field observations collected during a six‑week community impact internship at Manipal Hospice and Respite Care (MHRC), Manipal, India, in May-June(2026). It reports aggregated observation themes (spontaneous care practices, subjective welfare, Speech–Swallow–Soul Triad, dual pharmacopoeia, and informal welfare networks) derived from a structured field journal and Spontaneous Order Register. No personally identifiable patient, caregiver, or staff information is included, and no raw field notes, transcripts, or medical records are deposited. The summary is provided to support the associated F1000Research manuscript’s Data Availability statement under an open licence (CC BY 4.0), in line with the principle “as open as possible, as closed as necessary.”
