Climate Smart Siting Survey Data [Respondent identifiers redacted]

US national survey of expertise in renewable energy and biodiversity impacts. Respondents identified the current and future net impact of solar/wind on biodiversity, noted impacts on specific ecosystems, and compared the impact of solar/wind to other drivers of land use and land cover change. The purpose of this survey was to document how domain experts, often influential in the renewable energy planning decision-making process, perceive some relationships between solar/wind and biodiversity in the United States. This information is useful to describe renewable energy landscape decision-making trends and to inform the political landscape for decarbonization planning.
