SPOTSflavins

Here we describe microbial community dynamics in sediments underlying the San Pedro Ocean Time Series (SPOTS) station collected using a multi-corer. Using 16S rRNA gene sequencing of sediment horizons, we characterized community membership and structure to determine how the microbial community structure changed with respect to depth and pore-water concentrations of flavins, vitamins and geochemical parameters.本研究描述了采用多管取样器采集的圣佩德罗海洋时间序列（SPOTS）站下方沉积物中的微生物群落动态。通过对沉积物层位开展16S rRNA基因（16S rRNA gene）测序，本研究解析了沉积物微生物群落的成员组成与结构特征，以此探究微生物群落结构随深度以及孔隙水中黄素类化合物、维生素和地球化学参数浓度变化的规律。
