Instructions for carrying out outgassing tests for substitute raw materials for the determination of the volatile organic compounds content (VOC)

This working instruction (1st edition) describes the conduct of outgassing tests to determine the content of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). By means of an outgassing test, the processes during the preheating of the raw flour in the cement plant are simulated in the laboratory. The results indicate the appropriate location of the substitute raw material and the specific emission in the exhaust gas.
