The mar1290bsrwpwindavgM1.b1 datastream contains measurements of horizontal wind from the 1290-MHz Beam-Steered Radar Wind Profiler, which provides wind and moment averages. This instrument measures wind profiles and backscattered signal strength between 0.1 km and 5 km. The data were processed for Facility M1 (Hobart, AUS to Antarctic Coast - resupply ship Aurora Australis), which is at the MAR site (Southern Ocean; Mobile Facility (MARCUS)) between October 29, 2017 and March 18, 2018.
