Aerosol Observing System (AOS): Two Spot Aethalometer

The houaosaeth2spotM1.b1 datastream contains black carbon concentration measurements from the Aerosol Observing System (AOS) Two Spot Aethalometer. This instrument provides real-time readout of the concentration of black or elemental carbon aerosol particles in an air stream by measuring the rate of change of optical transmission through a filter where aerosol is continuously collected. The data were collected at Facility M1 (Houston, TX; AMF1, the main site for TRACER), which is located at the HOU site (Houston, TX, USA; Mobile Facility for TRACER), between October 4, 2021, and October 1, 2022.
