Number of debts for which a payment plan has been granted or refused

In case of financial difficulties, the debtor can always request a payment plan for up to 12 months, via Myminfin, by email or via one of the AGPR Infocenters. Over the past three years, there has been an increase in the number of debts affected by a payment plan application. And, the number of debts for which a plan has been accepted increases, while the number of debts for which a plan has been refused remains stable. The increases mentioned above are due to the coronavirus crisis, as well as the floods of summer 2021, and the resulting financial difficulties for a number of debtors. Due to changes in the various IT applications, the data reported for non-tax claims, SECAL debts and criminal fines are not complete for the years prior to 2021.
