The pre-concentration and waste rejection dataset is developed based on ore property analysis, with corresponding studies on pre-concentration and waste rejection carried out. The dataset mainly includes tests of X-ray irradiation, magnetic separation, color sorting, dense-medium separation, and X-ray transmission mineral processing, and collects the gangue rejection rate and metal loss rate under various pre-concentration methods. Through industrial-scale tests of dense-medium separation and X-ray mineral processing, it is further verified that implementing pre-concentration and waste rejection in low-grade complex polymetallic ores can effectively reduce the ore feeding volume for grinding and lower grinding energy consumption. The total data volume is approximately 3.92 MB.
